The World
Figure Skating Museum & Hall of Fame’s newest exhibit honors the members of
the 1961 U.S. World Figure Skating Team who lost their lives 50 years ago while
en route to the World Figure Skating Championships in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
The team was posthumously inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of
Fame as the Class of 2011 at the 2011 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating
Championships.

Bushman is the author of the newly released book Indelible
Tracings, the definitive account of the tragedy that forever changed figure
skating.

Staff will
be available to answer questions, and guests can view the trailer for the
upcoming cinematic feature RISE, which will be shown in more
than 500 theaters nationwide Feb. 17,
2011.

Parking at the Broadmoor Hotel - East Parking Lot
Please note the special parking
arrangements available through the courtesy of the Broadmoor Hotel as we have
limited parking facilities at U.S. Figure Skating headquarters.
As you travel west on Lake
Avenue toward the Broadmoor Hotel, turn right onto First Street. You will see a
“Special Event Parking” sign for the World Figure Skating Museum. The
headquarters for U.S. Figure Skating, where the museum is located, is only a
half-block north of the parking lot continuing along First Street.
